Current Scope of Registrations

ü Agents can register the following:

o New and Shelf CCs and (Pty) Ltds ONLY

§ CC – max 10 members;

§ (Pty) Ltd max 7 Directors and 9 shareholders

ü SwiftReg can register the following:

o The above as well as Section 21s, Incorporations, Public Companies (Shelf only), Company name changes amd CC Member changes

o These documents are all available on the SwiftReg website at www.swiftreg.co.za

ü We currently don’t register

o Trusts, Co-operatives, Director changes on existing (Pty) Ltds and VAT registrations

The Accounting Officer / Auditor is a registration requirement and therefore automatically appointed by us, however clients are free to appoint their own at no extra cost should they so wish.

Before starting the registration process it is vitally important to take some time to assess the clients needs in order to advise him of the most appropriate option (shelf or new) and entity (CC or Pty Ltd) for his requirements. (See FAQs for more information).

To minimize name rejections we suggest the consultant use the CIPRO website www.cipro.co.za to name search existing companies so as not to attempt to register existing or comparative names for new registrations.

Although SwiftReg does endeavour to keep you up to date on the progress of your registration, the live data updates are available on the CIPRO website or from the call centre on 0861843384.
